· Our appetite are properties 20 years and newer. We are a competitive market with Newer properties.
ARI does not write business in Tier 1, Galveston County, Brazoria Countynor Pasadena.
We do write in Harris County, Fort Bend County and Inland. I’ve attached ourARI closed zip code list.
ARI charges a $55 inspection fee for each residence that is over 5 years old (Exterior only, New Business Only)
Our inspections typically occur within 60 days of binding or Renewal but may occur Midterm.
Our inspection agreement will come along with the ARI homeowners application. “Agents Must make sure they’re retrieving the homeowners application from our system.
The homeowners application will have the inspection agreement attached. Agents must make sure they obtain their clients signatures and keep the application for random audits.
We do randomly audit agencies.
Roofs that are 15 years old older will be covered on an Actual Cash Value (ACV) basis.
ARI does not cover properties that are uninsured for over 30 days with no exceptions.

HIGH-VALUE HOMES:
$450,000 up to $1 million, $700,000! Up to $1 million on a submit basis!

RENTERS & CONDOMINIUM:
Renters Coverage limit: $100,000
Condominium Coverage limit: $300,000

Home System protection & Service Line Coverage $74.50 Per Year
Home System protection only Dwelling Fire $23.30 Per Year
Home System protection: Covers up to $50,000 any mechanical & electrical breakdowns inside the house
Service Line Coverage: Covers up to $10,000 includes repairs to underground pipes and wiring
Cyber Attack Coverage:
Home Cyber Protection Coverage $32.75 per year

3) Tools and/or Resources (helpful information that might be useful for each agent)
· Appointed agents may log into our ARI system. Obtain our quick reference charts that will go over the policy forms, underwriting guidelines, closed zip code list, ARI accounting additional fees & payment plans, EFT form. Our agent flyers for Flood, HSB, Cyber Attack Coverage. The flyers will have our marketing departments contact information on them. So agents may call our office and get trained on the Flood, HSB and Cyber Attack Coverage. If insured’s call our office inquiring information about their homeowners insurance policy. ARI will direct the insured back to the insurance agent who is listed on our ARI homeowners application, Declaration documents, invoice statements etc. Here are the steps below in green how our ARI appointed agents may find helpful useful documents.
Ø Log into the ARI system
Ø Once logged in. Top of the screen you will see “Utilities”
Ø Drop down will appear. Click on “Documents”
Ø Screen will change. The documents in this field are for our appointed agents to use for training.
Ø If the agent has questions they will need to contact our marketing department for CSR department for assistances.
Ø Our underwriting team do not train agents.

· All the department numbers and e-mails in this field are strictly for our appointed agents since we are not a sale direct company.
· Agents may give out our claim departments contact information and our accounting departments contact information to their insured’s.

· We host webinars each Friday @ 2pm central for any newly appointed agent who would like to join. Or any agents who may need a refresher.

· Service center for our appointed agents? We are not a sale direct company. We never deal with insured’s if that’s your question. Only the claims department will speak with insured’s regarding a claim they’ve created. Our accounting department will speak with insured’s regarding insured’s payment plans that the appointed agents have applied on their accounts. If the policy is in jeopardy of canceling for non-payments. The agents and/or insureds may call our accounting department to post a payment.
· If a policy is cancelled for non-payment of premium and subsequently reinstated, there is a $50 service charge for the reinstatement. This must be approved by the Accounting department.
Important Notice: Here at American Risk Insurance Company we are NOT a sale direct company and we will always refer ALL customers “insured’s” to our appointed agents who are listed on our Declaration documents. Our customer service department are strictly here to help our appointed agents better understand our ARI protocol, ARI system and to help service our appointed ARI agents.
